Hennadiy practices in all aspects of tax law, ranging from advocacy at the objection and appeal stage and Tax Court litigation to tax planning in corporate, trust and partnership matters.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Honours degree at the University of Winnipeg, earning the Gold Medal and participating in various community advocacy initiatives. During law school at the University of British Columbia, Hennadiy took numerous tax courses and attained the course prize in corporate taxation. Having articled at a boutique Bay street law firm, Hennadiy focused on pension and tax law, going on to practice in pension policy at a major Ontario pension plan, where he specialized in pension taxation.
Hennadiy is currently in the process of earning an LLM in Taxation Law at Osgoode Hall, as well as studying in the In-Depth Tax Course with Chartered Professional Accountants Canada. Hennadiy also serves as the Continuing Legal Education Liaison on the Executive Committee of the Taxation Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association.
In his spare time, Hennadiy is an avid rugby fan and loves to cook.
